Hello,
Recently bought a used 1985 evinrude 90hp vro from a buddy. Not sure if the vro pump is working or not, and I asked him what to see to tell if the vro pump is working, which the pump looks shiny and been told the pump were replaced several months ago. After start the engine after stall for about 2 times, it runs well and sounds good. And I see some white smoke out of the exaust which I think looks like the oil been burned, is it a sign to tell the vro pump is working?
Plus, the vro primer is full of oil which I cant squeeze it and there are barely some oil in the tank when I pick it up.
