I have a Minn Kota troller, the one with Power Drive, Auto Pilot and SONAR, that is a few years old but has never been used.
I put it on craigslist and a guy is coming to see it tomorrow. Without thinking I said I would demo it for him to show that it all works (I haven't even tested it myself).
Now I am in a fix. Seems to me that if I hook it up to a charged battery I can show that the steering and propelling motors work, and with a little creativity I think I can show that the Auto Pilot works.
I have an adapter cable to hook the SONAR transducer to an Eagle or Lowrance SONAR, but I have to have a powered up (read: installed) SONAR unit to demo the SONAR. As soon as I install the thing on a boat to demo it it is no longer an unused motor, etc.
Any suggestions?
