We are design a Catamran boat (8m length, composite). And I am going to use 2 Parsun outboard engines, 30hp/1 engine (remote one). But my problem is: I do not know how to combine 2 engines together. Do I need a hydraulic steering for them. Or just leave them saparating like that and connect them in electric system?
Is there anyone has experience about things above, could you please help me?
If Its ok, can you update some photos of them?
Thank you very much,

If a cat power boat, you need to use hydraulic steering to each engine.
With to cylinders operating from one helm pump, you have to get a pump with 'double' capacity.
For engine control, a normal dual engine top-mount or two single engine side-mount bolted outside each other.

There are mechanical linkages that are used to connect two motors (often a kicker to a main motor) but on a cat, I would imagine the two motors will be too far apart to do that. I would suggest a hydraulic setup where one helm pump runs two hydraulic cylinders. Be sure to get a helm rated for such use, or you will have to turn the steering wheel twice the normal amount.

can be done with one hydrolic pump, one cylinder and connecting rod, or dual cylinders. you need dual controls, one for each motor. they operate independently of each other. this can be dual binnacle, or side mount.
