how to choose the proper prop for my johnson 150 gt v6

hello trying to figure out how to choose the right prop for my Johnson its on a skeeter 18' startfire the old Johnson 150 I had on the boat never performed rite and then blew up rite after I bought the boat it had a 4 blade prop on it on the Johnson 150 that I have obtained now has a 3 blade stock prop how do I go about figuring witch one to run thanks

The correct prop will let that engine rev to the upper end of the normal operating range. That 150GT's normal operating range is 4500 to 5500, so you'll want it to run flat out (full trim, max throttle) right at 5500. That GT version actually makes close to 165 hp and will still make good hp up to around 5700.
