How to adjust carburator on Mercruiser J1223 carb

I have a 2007 Mercruiser with the 4 cylinder motor. It idles rough. I need to know how to taker off the idle adjusting screw cover so I can smooth out the idle. The cover is a spring loaded that needs to be removed before you can adjust.There is only 1 adjusting area on this 2 barrel carb.

You need the special tool shown below. About $3.50

PS: That J1223 is not a carb part number, it is the SAE Spec. manufacturers of marine carbs must pass to certify the carb will meet standards CLICK HERE
