how the heck do you get the tuned exhaust pipe out?

Need to pull the tuned exhaust pipe to fix two broken studs where it connects to the exhaust mainfold (92 seadoo xp)....how the heck does that thing come out....have it all disconnected, cant wiggle it out of there....also, my 93 seadoo xp has cap screws instead of studs and nuts....any reason why I couldnt use cap screws on the 92 also?

try unbolting the top bolt on each motor mount so you can move the engine around,, also I retap the 3 bolt holes to 3/8 coarse and buy 3/8 stainless bolts to replace the original ones,, I leave the one stud stock,, using a 3/8 tap won't require drilling the holes just run the tap.
