how old is this motor

I have been offered a Evinrude XP10, that is black. Looks exactly like a 9,9 or 15hp engine from 1974+ . About how old is it?

If you can post the model number we can tell you. It's probably a racing engine. But the year still needs a model number.

the guy that sells it doesnt know what the modelnumber is. He gave me the serial, then I gave up...
