At the ramp saw two guys with a 14 ft aluminum
jon boat. Owner had cut access holes in all the
seats and thrown out all the flotation to make
room for batteries, coolers, etc. Then put two
pedestal seats up too high, then put too large
a motor on it. But the most unsafe
thing he did was wire his boat..he had lights
everywhere and outlets everywhere. Now when I
say outlets i mean household electrical outlets! All of this junk was wired with cheap lamp cord. A white piece here, brown there parts and scraps of electrical cords! No covering to prevent chafing and not a fuse in there anywhere...

What are you doing in Texas and more importantly what are you doing looking at my boat?

Whenever I see some mess like that, I like to keep those folks in sight.

If you wait and watch long enough, they will always entertain you better than any TV show.

Well, it is a jon boat and are'nt they supposed to look ugly.
I confess to removing about 25% of my foam.
After finding the price of 24 volt trolling motor marine plugs I decided to use what I had on hand which was a male/female 240 volt plug/outlet 18 years ago.
50 hp jet on a 16' jonny.
My pedestals are adjustable.
Fuses, yes.
Weld repairs, everywhere.
Ugly, yes, but I think she's beutifull.

Another Einstein. Keep him in Ga. Enough winners here in the midwest.
