How much is this 1996 Sugar Sand worth?

I’m considering buying a 1996 Sugar Sand Mirage 120 xr sport jet. Owner says it’s 14’. It is in immaculate condition. 2 owners, always stored inside. Engine was remanufactured two years ago. Trailer is also in immaculate condition.
Owner is asking $4,000
Is that a fair price for this boat?

Local markets are all different, $4k is on the high side. $2k to $3k is more realistic to what I would pay. (not saying that isn't a fair price, it probably will sell for that.)

I've owned 3 sugar sands, a 95hp heat, 120hp heat, and a 175hp Tango. I would honestly stay away from the Force sport jets (90/95/120). Those are force powerheads with merc badging, parts and people willing to work on them are getting scarce, and you can't repower with anything else.
