How much is it worth ? honda 10 hp

Have a chance to buy a kicker for my boat .It is the first year Honda came out with a 4 stroke 10 HP unit . I think it said honda 100 on the side.
It has not run for years. just sitting in a shed.
If I can get it running how much is it worth?

Not much, I think many parts are no longer available for old Hondas.

What is scrap aluminum going for by you. I think it has a points ignition system those are NLA. If it runs all you will be able to do is run it until it breaks. I think the water pump is still available. The motor is from the 70s and Honda has only made 4 strk outboards. You can get 9.9 Evinrudes or 9.8 Mercurys .for about that price a much better buy.

Free and in running condition would be good, if it needs any parts at all you will be into it several hundred more and it still may not work correctly, and that's only if the parts that break are still available.


Like already mentioned, you can get a motor in the same price range that has parts still being stocked in every state so they're very easy and cheap to buy.
