Q: How many women with MENOPAUSE (or PMS) does it take to change a light bulb?<br /><br />A: One! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the #&%!* light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE FREAKING LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL !! . . . <br /><br />I'm sorry. What was the question?<br />I have to agree with this. Its the truth! <br />Bassy

Ah I feel better now, but how the heck am I going to get through the next three weeks? I don't drink or smoke anymore. and kicking the cat is out. Teaching is crazy this time of year. Like students brains go into pause or something. <br />Bassy

So what's a little lightbulb...Bassy? When I get up I'm jumped by 3 cats (breakfast, NOW!!), a dog that wants to go out, a ladyfriend that wants coffee on bed, preferably with the newspaper...and all that before I go to work. However, have to say that when I get home, there is a nice glass of wine waiting for me, a perfect meal, a lot of kisses, a dog that goes mad and no cat to be seen (had diner already). It will all go away....eventually <br />Frank<br />PS: terrific the good ending of the scare you had. Been the same road myself, had an operation but clean now.....makes all little things worthwhile doesn't it?

Well, its not all gone yet. Tomorrow is the consultation with the surgeon(my 2nd opinion). I will hand carry my ultrasound in and see what he says. I'm just not as worried this time. Don't know why. Guess its just one of those feelings that whatever it is I'll do what I need to. Thank you for the kind words.<br />Bassy
