How many relays for tilt/trim

I have a 1995 Volvo 290DP and the tilt quit working last week (trim works fine) so I figured it was a relay and replaced both just to be on the safe side and after that the tilt still doesn't work. I read a few post already on this subject and read where there are two sets of relays is this true? Do I have two sets of relays for the tilt/trim unit and where would they be?

Did you check to see if you have power going to and then from the relays? Maybe it's just the switch, or a fuse. It's important to make sure you check incoming and outgoing electricity before you start replacing parts. Replacing parts until you find the one that is bad can get expensive.

You should have another set of relays near the helm area.
