How long should tilt hold motor up?

I have an 84 Evinrued 60hp with tilt and trim. I had to replace a few hoses but seems to be working well. I have noticed if i leave the motor tilted up a little,the next day the motor will be all the way down. Is this normal? I have checked for leaks and cant find any. Manual bypass not tight enough maybe?

you have not gotten all the air out of the system.
