Re: How long after hurricane Irene would you wait to go on the CT river?
Have you tried to view the river lately? It's an absolute MESS. I have three logs lodged under my boat, a 30'+ tree trunk in the slip next to me and a tree dragged a moored boat almost into another.
Head to the sound but personally I would stay off the river.
Maybe I'm just annoyed that I need to swim to get to my slip!
