I've been searching for a used, late model 24-26' midcabin cruiser for about a month, and it's been pretty slim pickings, at least around my area (buffalo, NY).
I did find one nice looking boat, a 2002 Rinker Fiesta Vee 242, for sale for $34,000, through Craig's List. I went and checked it out, and the boat is VERY clean, and appears to be well taken care of. (Of course, if I decided to move forward with it, I would get a professional to check it out thoroughly).
What does everyone think of this boat? I like the seating layout, and it seems this owner takes very good care of the boat. There's no hour meter to be found, but I would estimate it has 300-400 hours, which is high for this area.
In general, I'm looking at Sea Rays, Chapparals, Maxums, Glastrons, and Four Winns (I think Four Winns are my favorite).
So i think the boat is overpriced, especially since I would have to pay for winterizing and storage. I'm thinking of offering $27k, what does everyone think? Is this a quality boat?
Thanks!
