Hello, I'm tring to find out the weight of a 1985 Bayliner 19.5' with a 4 cyl. I/O motor. The boat is on a trailer with a single axel.
I would like to go look at this boat and maybe buy.
I drive a 1997 GMC Jimmy 4.3 with a transmission cooler installed (trany. serviced regulary).
What do you all think about the boat weight and my SUV?
thank-you! Jim

I have the 2008 Bayliner brochure, and although there are none that are 19'5", the 19 footer weighs 3240 lbs with trailer. The 20 footer 3895 lbs with trailer. You're in between there. And that Jimmy will pull it fine. I have a 4.2L envoy and it pulls my 17'6" bayliner no problem at all. You're fine, go check that boat out!

I have a 01 ranger, 2 wheel drive, and I pull my 18' bowrider just fine. You will have no trouble, just don't get too far in the water!

I pull my 18 foot Glastron with a 2001 GMC Jimmy. It has the same engine and tranny as yours I am pretty sure. It has no problems towing or at the ramp as long as I can keep traction pullling up.
You should have no problems at all
