2005 Sea Hunt 175DC w/90HP Johnson 2-stroke. Had my boat up to 46MPH with 3 kids and 2 adults this weekend on Saturday, but I was going with the wind and the current. Usually 41MPH is my top speed on a calm day with no help from the current.
2010 Hurricane SS188 OB. 200 HP Mercury Optimax with 5 blade SS prop (gives up several MPHs for better hole shot and watersports). Have hit 52MPH, flat waters, just myself but a full 45 gallon of full onboard
Typically with people in the boat its in the mid to high 40s.
2010 Hurricane 217 SD with Yamaha F150. Top speed is 40 mph with 4 blade PowerTech SS prop (like NelsonQ, I get better hole shot, and reduced planing speed at the expense of a few mph off the top speed with this prop).
2011 Hurricane 187 with 4.3L Merc MPI (220HP). Have hit 53 mph in calm conditions with 1 adult and 2 kids in the boat. Standard Alum factory installed prop. I'd like to change the prop to get a better holeshot. Any suggestions?

COnsider posting this in the prop section. again, if you look at a 4 or 5 blade, and play with the pitch (you want to ensure you don't overrun the engine so find the range that best suits you top end RPMs) and you'll achieve it. But again, you'll drop some MPHs as a trade off.
1999 GS-201 with Honda 200 HP and SS prop. 46.2 mph as measured by GPS. It was just me on board with a near full tank of gas on a calm day. Probably could have got a little more out of it in time with a little more trimming.
