Considering skinning the swim deck with Seadek but we have a dog & we're afraid she'll tear it up with her claws trying to get back on board. How does the stuff hold up to scratching?

I don't have a dog, but I am a big advocate for SeaDek... It is tough stuff. I suppose the answer would depend on the dog's claws... I'd think they'd have to be quite sharp to actually dig into the foam because its so dense.

I think you can order a sample from SeaDek. Get a piece and try to tear it apart.
I installed the faux teak, mocha over black, and it looks fantastic on our swim platform and is also comfortable to stand/sit on.

Just ordered it for a buddy's boat, seems to be of high quality! I'm planning on adding it to the interior (in place of carpet). I have 3 dogs (although, the 14 y.o. dalmatian is may not make to summer). Depending on use, I'd bet you wouldn't even notice the dog used it?

It will not even be phased by dog's. It will hold up well for many years. Very good stuff.
