Yes you have to go through the window to get to the foredeck, or you can pop out the hatch.<br /><br />Keep your anchor rode and chain in a 5 gallon pail. Put it in rope first and finish with the chain, then when you drop anchor, the chain will come out first.<br /><br />When it's time to anchor, attach the anchor to the chain with a shackle. Gently lower the anchor (not "throw" like you said). The chain and rode will come out of the pail as slick as you please. When you've backed down and set the anchor, tie off to one of your bow cleats. Leave the pail in place.<br /><br />When you need to weigh anchor, untie from the cleat and flake the rode back into the pail. Let it fall in naturally. When it's all in, disconnect the anchor and stow everything away.<br /><br />The fender holders...I'd just bungee the fenders in place.
