well you can take off the water hose were it connects to the t-stat and run it into a bucket for 15 seconds and check the flow <br /><br />but theres no hard number that i have seen like 5 gallons in 15 seconds at 1000 RPM<br /><br />if its more than a 3 years old its cheep insurance to just change it <br /><br /><br />tommays

If it picks up the water, spits it out, and your engine temperature is optimal, then it must be working. that's all i watch for.
