How do you prefer to set your dwell?

My 3.7 liter specs call for a 28 degree to 34 degree dwell.
(Which is no problem for me to set.)
But I'm curious - is there a practical reason to set it to the higher or lower end? Much like you might set your spark plug gap small so that through it's life it the gap increases yet stays in spec.

Where do you prefer your dwell angle and why?

Use a dwell meter and set it toward the lower end. As the rubbing block wears, your dwell increases.
