Can someone explain how to winterize the head? Its a 2009 Glastron with a Jabsco hand pump and is fed by sea water. My waste was just pumped out.

You close the seacock if its still in the water. Remove the hose going to it and hook up the antifreeze hide, pump until you get some in the bowl. Then switch to dry bowl and pump some more to clear the bowl. Then hook the hose back to the seacock. When the boats out of the water, open the seacock so any residual water goes away. Then have a beverage or take a nap.

Boat is out of water. So, there will be some antifreeze left in the waste tank when I pump it through the bowl, which I assume is okay?

This is what we used to do when we had a manual flush head.

1) Get a pump out
2) Set the head to dry flush
3) Pour propylene glycol (Pink Marine/RV antifreeze) into the head
4) Keep dry flushing until you think that you've filled the entire sanitation line, plus added enough to dilute the remaining fluid in the holding tank with AF.
5) Get another pumpout
6) Haul the boat
7) Open the seacock (leave it open for the winter. (Any raw water between the head and the seacock should drain. If anything freezes the open system should allow for a little bit of expansion.

NOTE: If there is a seastrainer on the head intake line, remove it, drain it, then re-install it.
