I have a Magictilt Trailer with a bad tire and need to switch it out. I don't have an owners manual for the trailer, and have no idea how to jack this thing up. Do I leave it attached to a tow vehicle to keep it steady? Any help would be appreciated.

yes leave it hooked to the tow vech. Then get it on good solid surface then change it out. The best thing is to take it to a tire shop they have the equip. and know how to do the job. i am talking about a real tire shop not a store shop like wal-mart or some place like that.

Re: How do I jack this think up?

When ever I used to work on my trailer I would use the plastic wheel chocks from Walmart to brace the trailer from moving.
With the trailer attatched to the tow vehicle, I would inch back or forward (depending on the room available in the driveway) until the good wheel had pressure on the wheel chock. Then use park and the emergency brake to hold the trailer's position and place the other block cholk in front of the good wheel (or have someone place it there for you). Let off the emergency brake in neutral and the trailer will settle securley. Unhook the trailer (as I would alway have to go for some part or run an errand) and jack up one side of the trailer you need to work on.

If you have a solid axle DO NOT JACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AXLE - it will BEND. Jack very close to the leaf spring or jack on the frame itself.

Mike.
