How do I edit a thread I started

I put the wrong thing in the title line of a thread I just started

How do I edit it

I also would like to change my user name how do I do it

A Mod has to change your User Name. You can pick one to PM here - Show Groups - iboats Boating Forums

To change the title of your thread - Go to the first post, click Edit, then click Advanced. That will allow you click on the title and change it to what you want.

Hi there Shannon, welcome to iboats! To edit your title you should be able to click on edit in the lower right hand side of the thread then click on go advanced and fill in what you want it to read.

As for your username, one of our administrative members will have to do that for you. I will let him know for you, so you'll have to give it a day or two at most.

We will need your new preferred name though.

Ooops - I was giving too much power to the Mods. But Fun Times will get you started on the user name change.
