Were the under dogs. Every one likes the under dogs. Plus the images of his handicapped brother and his comment of his brother being his #1 fan. You just can't help but like the guy. :)

This is what I love about the Olympics , All events have a heart warming drama envolved. These people train for years for a single shot at history.

Maybe in moguls but according to Wiki we have 7 golds in each of the last two winter games.

Hey our Canadian brothers and sisters are just that. They are almost all immigrants like ourselves. So you have to root for the home team, even if it is a Northern home team. I love going there twice a year to enjoy their company and their fish. So here's to the good old USA and Canada, may they all strike gold in Vancouver.

^^^^^^^^

What he said.

Kinda sad that it didn't come on the womens moguls. Our skier did a fantastic job but the US was just a bit better. Silver was nothing for her to be ashamed of, but the country was pulling for her to get the gold.

Fun to watch the moguls.

Now let's talk about the womens hockey;)

Yeah, we were really rooting for Jenn Heil in the women's moguls but there's no doubt Hannah Kearney was absolutely spectacular. A well-deserved US win there.

Bit of a lesson in sportsmanship for our young son tonight. We were watching some of the pairs skating and both my wife and I let out a sad gasp when one of the skaters fell during a jump. Our 7 year-old wanted to know why we cared since it wasn't a Canadian. We tried to explain that all the athletes in every country have given everything they have for this one moment and no one wants to see anybody fall on their keester (literally or figuratively).
