How can i turn 25 2cyl 2 stroke sukuki to 30?

Hey guys i have a 25 suzuki 93 model. I need more power. The 30 suzuki is the same basic motor. Does anyone know whats involved in upgrading my 25 hp to 30 hp or mabee a bit more?<br />thanks...

Jason123 Not an expert here. But most small engine are basicly the same motor with just different carbs for HP change. It might just be the jets in the carb that will produce the 5 HP your looking for? I would go that route.<br />steve

Hey Jason sounds like we have same motor. Increasing the hp sounds like a good idea to me. Jason<br />I do not know your motor or even if it is a 2 stroke or 4 stroke. I can tell you this it is more than just changing the jets. If all you do is change the jets your motor will either flood with bigger jets or run lean with smaller jets neither will make more power. If you put in bigger jets you then have to get more air in cylinder to have proper air/fuel mixture. This usually means a carberator with a bigger bore but can also mean bigger valves. Anyway must get more fuel and air in cylinder to have proper mixture and get more power.

Jason, the best thing to do is just change the decals. If a 25hp motor isn't cuttin it odds are a 30hp won't do much better.
