Is there a way to find out what parts from newer motors are the same or will work with my older motor. I have a 1984 sea king montgomery ward. I have been told several sites to look for parts (THANKS) but parts are getting far and few between for this model.

As you don't provide the s/n of the engine, here is a link with information about the Sea King. This will tell you who made your engine etc. I should be able to get parts lists for you if you provide the serial number/model number etc.
