How can I find my tow rating???

Hello. I've been searching the web and I can't seem to find the tow rating for my vehicle. I have a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder SE V6 4WD, 5-SPD manual<br /><br />Base Engine Size: 2.96 liters <br />Horsepower: 153 hp <br />Max Horsepower: 4800 rpm Torque: 180 ft-lbs. <br />Max Torque: 4000 rpm

You can check in your owners manual or if you have the original brochure.It probably is not much more than 2000lbs. Charlie

You can check with a dealer, or ask here Nissan forum <br /><br />Most Pathfinders, including our 98' and 03', are rated at 3500# manual and 5000# automatic.<br /><br />My 98' manual will tow a 1200# rig pretty well, although I need 2nd or 3rd gear in the mountains.<br /><br />Anything much heavier, I would not want to tow any distance. Not that it could not do it, just too slow going.<br /><br />Good luck.
