How Can I Connect 1 Fuel Tank to 2 Different Motors?

I currently have a 2006 Honda 25hp with an external tank, I just bought a 1999 Evinrude 6hp, both 4 strokes. They have 2 different fuel connectors, how can I use a single tank for both motors? I will only be running one at a time. I've thought of trying to change the male fuel line connector on the Evinrude, don't know if that's possible, or should I make a "T" in the line with a valve and run one to each motor? Not opposed to switching fuel line back and forth.

Any better ideas?

I would make Both Fuel Hoses fit on your fuel tank, and then just swap hoses at the tank when switching engines.

Two Engines + One Fuel Tank = Two Fuel Hoses.

Redundancy is better than Dependency! KISS!

Or put a valve so you run off one tank or the other. No more unplugging one tank and plugging in another. Just turn the valve to the one you like.

Changing the end is easy and cheap. Marina, truck repair, plumbing supply all could have the right fitting and have the compression crimper to install.
Take a look at the Honda's fuel line. Can you use it on the Evinrude? If both are the same size/type fitting going into the motor than you can order the Honda's and replace the Evinrude's.

This is great! The simple idea of changing the tank end! Doh! I really would prefer not to switch hoses everytime, the "T" sounds like the way to go. The Fuel inlets are different on each motor.

Thanks all, Keep the ideas coming!

A plain tee will not work well. A fuel selector valve as Don suggested is the way to do that.

One thing to consider. If you have a problem with the fuel because it's contaminated or a delivery issue. You might have two motors but you won't be able to run either.
