How big of a problem do I have?

Totally new to working on my boat. 1995 ski centurion Falcon. It has a 5.7 in it. I’m clueless, but was winterizing it and opened the wrong plug. Please talk to me like I know nothing… because it’s the truth. Over explain please.
Ok, how big is this problem and can I fix it myself somehow? The red plug shown had a washer and rubber stopper on it. While pulling it out they fell into the cavity.
What is this part? I can’t find a manual or diagram anywhere on the internet.
Good news is I was able to drain and winterize, bad news I created a new problem. 8DB29550-54A4-4DCB-8E57-8F45EB655743.jpegFF6FF8BB-C734-49CF-9ED1-0256457E3AF9.jpeg

Boat the engine belongs to for reference. Maybe someone knows what I have messed up and how I can fix it. 😩73E5C85D-0A7C-4092-93EC-CE3568E2057C.jpeg

Hi, that will be for your transmission fluid level check.

Can you post the full serial number just barely visible to the left of one of the photos also, post your engine serial number as well… that should help with finding a parts diagram that you’re looking for.

I will get those tomorrow.
Is there a way to get the items out you think?

Just the engine number should do for your future info as I didn’t realize the full number could be seen in one of the photos until looked again.
Your dipstick part number looks to be,
10-17-559-001
DIPSTICK

If you haven’t yet, to start, maybe a magnetic and/or small grabber’s as I believe the hole might be big enough to shine a light and see an area straight down to hopefully pick it up/out.

Yes, but it may be pulling the transmission to do so

You can try using a wet-dry shop vac to pull the washer, nut, and rubber stopper once you drain the fluid

You may be able to get a claw grabber and pull the rubber stopper

You may be able to use a flexible magnet to get the washer & nut (note, some dipsticks have a washer & nut, some have a threaded washer)

If you can't get the parts out in-situ, then you need to pull the transmission

However do not run the motor until the dipstick parts have been removed from the transmission
