No...they do not. A private company has rights to NOTHING that goes on in my home.

More importantly they don't have the right to define what makes a theater, either.

As worthless as our politicians are, I don't think they are this stupid. And I'm sure 99.9% of them own more than one very large TV.

I'm going to go download a movie now just to give them a figurative middle finger. ;)

Before you run off snickering, one time in band camp . . . No, really, when I was working in the UK and us 'muricans rented a house to stay in, we got a nasty letter from the TV License MInister or some other ludicrously titled guy. We were threatened with all kinds of stuff if we didn't buy a license to use the public airwaves. They actually pay some slob to go around and drop off nasty grams. I think they even give him a truck to "monitor" illegal use of public airwaves. Be careful what you laugh at . . . They've figured out how to tax free stuff ober dere . . .
