Hot Maps Premium Problem

I have been having a problem with my Navionics Hot Maps Premium card in my Lowrance X18C Sonar/GPS/Plotter. Once a lake is located, and I begin zooming in to view depth and structure, all keys become inactive until the unit is powered down and then powered back up again. If I put in a different card such as Lake Ontario, everything seems to work fine. A call to Navionics suggested that I return the card for a new one which they would offer 50% credit (-$100) off a new updated version which would end up costing me another $100. I would be satisfied if I could get the card (1 1/2 years old) working the way it should if possible.

Helpful advice appreciated.

I don't think it's the card. The mapping software doesn't cause your graph keys to locked up. The operating software and or hardware in your graph would cause your keys to locked up. Call Lowrance and see what they say.

I will probably end up sending the unit to Lowrance with an explaination of the problem after I winterize the boat in about another month. Unfortunately, they only carried the x18c for about only two years before discontinuing it. My total investment (unit, gps antenna,& installation) cost close to 1K 3 years ago. I'd like to get more mileage out of it before considering replacement.
