Hot Foot Question

Well, it has come to the time where my legs are starting to let me down some and I will be going back to the regular cotrol box on my boat.
My question is, the throttle cable to the hot foot, can I use it to the control box or will I have to get one for that?

if the linkage fits, the box and you can route it with out binding i don't see why not. i picked up cables that were wyt to long for my boat, (they were way cheap) i just routed them in a big circle(loop) to that up the difference.
