So much of Florida will be affected. Good luck to y'all, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I have family in Fort Myers, Coral Gables and North Port.

Let it go quickly through FL and then let SC get teh rain they need then come on up to central PA and soak us down well ... but either before or after Sat afternoon - I have an outdoor hanging, er, uh, wedding to attend ...

I'm all for that...............I also have family and friends in the direct path....................so as before everyone be safe down yonder..........................Hay aspeck you know the difference between a wedding and a funeral??

A nice mild rain for a few hours as she passes through would be great. The downside is that it will probally be heavy and only short lived.

5AM report, did not become hurricane, came ashore on the south tip of marco island. expected to cross state and weaken. mainly just a rain maker, expected to stall over Jacksonville. as a major rain maker. # 1 concern is tornados.

Big concern is flooding and possible Tornado's..............we'll hope for the best ................y'all Keep safe and dry down there......

Boy, saw the projected path of her this morning ... she is a slow mover and looks like she is gonna want to turn wants she gets to the Atlantic and come back through Georgia and head way inland. She is definitely a contrary lady.

On another note, did you see the video of the kite surfer that went for a ride in the middle of Fay???? What an idiot, but it made an amazing video!

Sitting here at 0815 hrs in Naples - good amount of rain, some 30 to 40 k squalls but nothing as predicted. Appears to be a good rainmaker though.
Couple of tree limbs down, yard covered with leaves, etc.
Boat cover still hanging in there. Last report stated this for the most of the day. Small stream flooding, nothing major.
Think I'll spend the day being really lazy !!

My Son told me about the kite momments after it happened and I laughed. I had been watching the news moments before he went airborn. The reporters always like to show the beach and interveiw surfers. While a reporter was reporting and the kiteman was in the background setting up, to (take off) lol! I said to myself and kids this idiot is going to fly in a minute! lol Those guys are to the beach what jet skiers are to the boat ramp.
