I have a 2008 yamaha 2 stroke that I purchased last year and would like to hook up a tach to verify RPM @ WOT.... is there a easy way to connect a tach to this motor? is there anything special I will need to buy? I was thinking of getting a teleflex (or other brand) tach and speedo to mount in the boat.... what all will I need to buy for the tach?
if I cant hook up a real tach I was thinking of using a tiny tach just to verify the prop size.... I notice tiny tach's do not have replaceable batteries... is there another brand that is better?
How do dealers prop small boats without a tach? the 25 came standard with the prop.... do most dealers just go with that or do they actually verify its the CORRECT prop
my outboard is on a 05 Polar Kraft V-142T
