I know this is kind of a dumb question.. I know what a warranty is, but what is a NON DECLINING warranty?

that means every component is covered for the life of the warranty...clear down to the decals !...regular warranty is everything for the first year then it drops(declines) to lubricated components only8)

Thanks for the reply... I just picked up a brand new 07 honda today, and wanted to make sure I completely understand all aspects of the warranty. Guess I could have asked the salesman:/

Since the purchase was before the end of March, Honda threw in an additional 2 years on top of the original 3, making it a total of 5 years non-declining warranty.....
nice.

And which '07 did you get?

They threw in 2 more years warranty on all Honda models? Thats nice to know. I picked up a 9.9 short shaft for my Gheenoe.

that extra 2 years of warranty only applies to 40 horsepower and up8)

Honda Uk say five years warranty on all engines

Honda warranty is good but does not cover corrosion.
