Hi,

I live in the UK and I have a really old Honda 75 Outboard. It's the B75K2 version about 1978 I think.

The throttle cable is to the point of snapping. I've tried to get one through the normal Honda channels but it's been discontinued. Anybody got any ideas where I could get one from.

Thanks in advance.

That engine has changed very little in it's evolution,SOO,even though Honda has obsoleted that original part number it does'nt mean that current 8a parts will not backfit. If you are fitted with remote cables they are simply 33c cables that are readdilly available everywhere.

Re: Honda Vintage 75 Throttle Cable

I did have a little look to see if the new models had the same part number but I was a bit concerned that if I brought something else they wouldn't fit. Maybe I need to take another look. Thanks for your help.

I'm not using it remotely just off the handle.
