Re: Honda/Tohatsu/Nissen

Why, Lakeman?

This forum is for trouble and repair advice. Tohatsus don't seem to need repair, and they are greatly outnumbered by Hondas. A Tohatsu-only (including Nissan) forum might get one post a week.

If you want general information, go to the General Outboard Forum. Ask who has one and what they think of them.

Good luck. :)

For what it's worth.
The owner of Specialty Manufacturing Co. and designer of outboard jetpumps and I had a phone conversation about my Hondas jetpump.

It was his opinion that Tohatsu made the finest outboard in the world. And not by just a little but by leaps and bounds.

Considering his experience and brain. Along with the fact he doesn't sell Tohatsu. That is one heck of a confirmation.

Skinny, it isn't that I do not like to share space with you, after all, I think we are in good company. It is just that this danm compaq computer (I purchased this compaq, because my last one was a good one, and a compaq, but this one I have always had a performance problem, I will never again buy compaq     ), is only good for so many cliks, and then I have to reboot and start over, and I am always cliking here, and it is always honda, which at this time I am not interested in. Some day I may be, as honda is apparently a good engine. :D :D :D :D
