does anybody know if honda makes more than 1 type of analog tachometer? i installed a honda tach on my BF30 using the Honda wiring harnes which is a OEM plug in harness so i assume i couldn't have the wiring wrong. but at idle it barely moves off the zero mark even though my test tach says the motor is idling at 750-800 rpm. using the fast idle i have checked the differance between the test tach and the Honda tach and the 6-800 rpm differance seems consistant. i checked the back of the tach and there is no number setting to adjust like there is on an aftermarket tach. i checked Honda's online catalog and they don't list any different tachs based on hp. has anybody seen this problem before with Honda tachs?
