honda remote control

I just baught a new honda BF30D out board with SRT remote control. I told the dealer I whould install it myself they wanted $500 no instructions or manual came with remote thats what I need. should there have been info. with remote or is the dealer seeing what I can do with out paying him $500 he said no manual or instructions came with remote.

is there a manufacturer name on the unit other than SRT? if so, u might try to GOOGLE that manufacturer name and add "installation instructions" to it and you could get lucky.

for example: honda remote control installation instructions

if there is a manufacturer name on it other that honda, let me know. im looking to do the same thing to my BF20D. thanks
