Hi all
I'm looking to replace the present prop I have on my 2001 50hp BFA. which is eleven and a quarter diameter and thirteen inch pitch.
I can hit top revs easily, so thought I'd go for a fifteen inch pitch.

Problem is I can't seem to find and eleven and a quarter diameter over here, except for one of those composite adjustable pitch jobs.

Does anyone know of another manufacturers prop of the size I require that will fit a Honda?
All suggestions are welcome

Re: Honda prop

Yes I found a prop on iboats but I live in the Isle of Man UK and haven't been able to source one over here.
I'll spend an hour or two tonight searching the web again this evening, if I can't find one here I'll have to import one from your side of the pond.
Thanks for the response all thumbs.

Manxman, count yourself luckier than us, you don't have to pay the courier vat when you receive your parcel.

Last month I imported a navman plotter, the vat at the door was £150.

Re: Honda prop

Perhaps you may want to try and borrow this prop first from a marine store?. I have a 2003 BF 50 with the factory prop 11.25 x 13 and easily hit 6000 rpm with what I thought was more throttle left. GPS showed top speed of 34 mph. I bought a 11" x 15 pitch prop thinking I would get some more speed, however my max rpm dropped to 5400 rpm and top speed of 31 mph. This prop has know become an emergency spare, it cost me $160 Canadian dollars (2.3 Cad = 1 british lb)from a Honda dealer. I think I will try a 11.25 x 13 stainless power tech prop which I can get for about 170 US to help with cavitation. So, cheap prop for sale if you can figure out how to ship it from Vancouver, 20 minutes use - it can become you emergency spare!.
