Has any one out there had trouble getting parts for Honda ouboards including their 130 hp 4-stroke? Does any one have experience with getting Honda parts from K-Sports in Kenora, Ontario, Canada?
This may not be much help, but their web site states that the 130 has crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, valves, and valve springs from the Accord engine, the 90 hp engine has the same from the Civic engine.
ERR,<br /><br />Had a nightmare with getting parts from Honda on a kicker 8 hp. Waited 8 months for a cowl.<br /><br />Worst part about was that the the Honda Corp. office didn't really care.
Keep in mind that every area and distribution center have their own challenges,but here is how things work at our shop in pretty much remote NO.CAL..Honda can get us parts in most cases in two or three days. Merc was comparable until they moved their distribution center, now takes five. Omc/Bombardier is a guess.The person you should be asking this ? of is the dealer you are , or might be planning to, do buisiness with.
