I have a 75hp Honda, 4stroke. Identical block, carbs,displacement etc.to the 90hp 4stroke.
Does anyone know of a way or material that shows a way to convert the 75hp to 90hp? I could use the extra paddle when fully loaded.

Re: Honda Outboards

I have guided professionally for over 30 years and owned a fishing/hunting camp in Canada for 12.
I've extensively used Yamahas, Johnsons, Mercs and Hondas 2 and 4 strokes. In fact all three of theses companies used to send prototypes to my resort for us to test.I've successfully converted many motors from stated hp to higher hp and used them professionally as well as renting to my guests.
This Honda is my first 4stroke having resisted buying a 4 because of the added weight. I have been amazed by it's consistant power, smoothness, and gas mileage. In addition, after 35 years of running outboards, I'm not spewing noxious fumes into the enviroment I cherish nor are my passagers and I breathing them.
