Honda oil filter

I have a year old Honda BF30A that needs an oil and filter change. <br />Do I need a special tool to remove and replace the filter and does the engine/ oil really need be warm to change the oil properly.<br />Thanks alot

The filter doesn't require a special tool for replacement.<br /><br />It's always best to change oil when it's hot. Particulates and contaminates are mixed and suspended in the oil then and the hot oil evacuates the sump effectively.
