I went to install a new rubber seal around the cowling as the old one was starting to deteriorate. I have it pressed on so it looks like the way the old one was seated but the latches won't tighten down. There is an adjustment for the latch hooks inside the cowling to adjust the height of the hook. I've sprayed the adjustment bolts down but they appear to be slightly corroded. I'll keep working on them but not sure if I should have to be adjusting them simply replacing the old gasket.
