I'm having trouble with cooling. No water coming our of the pisser. Where is the impeller located and can I change this myself without too much trouble?
Thanks for the help.

You need to do some reading on this forum, all your answers are there.
The water pump is in the lower end and yes it is possible for you tochange it your self.
1st question? Are you overheating? How do you know if you are? Try pulling the hose loose under the cowling and force 40-60# water pressure back thru the system.

Thanks for the reply,
I start overheating and steam starts coming out the pisser hole on the left of the cowling. I'm new to the forums and mayber don't know how to search. When you say lower unuit, does that mean I have to break that unit apart to get at the impeller?
I'll try to force air/water pressure into the system from the tube end to see if that helps.
I thank you in advance for your coaching.

Yes, you need to remove the lower unit. There are 4 bolts, probably 12mm if I remember correctly, seperate the shift rod by putting the unit in reverses and look about 1/2 down leg in the open part and you will see the shift rod, there is a small jam nut loosen it slightly and a longer nut, screw it down until it seperates the shifty rod. If you can not do that then have to take out the carter key and clevis pin at the top under the cowling.
If you are steaming from the indicater water, yes, I would say you need a new impeller and or water pump.
