Hi all,
I'm the proud new owner of a 1985 Honda BF75 (7.5hp) outboard.
The impeller on the outboard had not been changed in years and it died last week.
I took it to my local service shop but they were backed up for 3 to 4 weeks. They really didn't seen to interested in getting to me anytime soon. I don't want to wait a month to get back on the water so I'd like to replace it myself, if I can get a little guidance.
I searched online but I can't find any info on changing the darn thing. I've changed one on an old Force outboard about 10 years ago but that was the last time I had to open a lower unit.
If you have changed your impeller, any advice on what is the easiest way for me to replace the one on my Honda?
Thanks,
Terry
