I have cross referenced the oil filter for this outboard to Purolator L14612.
The original Honda oil filters are (they're all the same):
15400-PFB-004 oldest/original
15400-PFB-014 changed from 004
15400-PLM-A02 changed from PFB-014
They fit the Honda Insight and Pilot (among other cars) and the Purolator L14612/L14610 fit the Insight and Pilot. Same oil pressure, release valve, anti-back flow valve and size as the Honda filters.
Has anyone tried this on their outboard?
