There are two tubular jets in the keihin carbs used on the BF50.
I'm rebuilding mine & have new parts but noticed something about the jet set that's in the tube that draws fuel from the bowl.

There are two brass tubular jets, one fits inside the other.

I'm replacing them, but noticed there are two holes that are in the bottom of each tube.

Should the holes in the tubes be aligned so that you can see through both jets, or should they be offset, or does it matter?

It apparently doesn't matter.
After reassembling it starts & idles fine without any special regard to orientation of the orifices.

Re: Honda BF50 jet alignment question

Good to hear it's working now. Although, it sounds like it was one of those typical Homer Simpson "DUH" moments when you wished you paid attention to the configuration as you were dis-assemblng the parts. It happens to me all of the time......
