Fuel leaking from around Welch plugs on two of the carbs. Honda says we dont use plugs on the carbs. They sure look like welch plugs to me. They are not shown on the carb parts diagram.
Can anyone shed any light on this.

Are you referring to the little cap on the front/starboard side of the carb?

If so, the diagram refers to it as #18 Choke Dust Cap.

I also do not see any welch plugs in the diagram.

So I am wrong. Not the first time.
They do indeed appear to be the dust caps. Tearing down the carbs revealed a bad case of solidified dirt. Cleaning and replacing the needles fixed the leaks. Now we have a case of one and two cylinder not running.
Was unable to do a comps test as I usually do. Waiting on the adapter for my tester.
